Our wedding films are all about story telling not just showing pretty shots with music in the background. We produce your film to reflect who you are and show what happened on your wedding day. Wedding films have advanced over the past couple of years, and nowadays they are a combination of documentary and directed film-making.

Wedding films are the most important element of a wedding day. Motion and Sound will create the same atmosphere as on your wedding day and take you back feeling all the emotions of your wedding day for many years to come.

We use the latest Canon DSLR cameras and use an assortment of premium L Series lenses. We film at Full HD, True Widescreen 1080p giving you the Cinematic Experience. We also carry Sony PMW-EX-3 which is a broadcast quality Full HD camera.

Sound

Contrary to popular belief, filmmakers around the world have realised that a great film is made up of 40% image and 60% sound. We at Radiant Bride Wedding Video & Photography adopt the same belief in making your wedding videos. We use only the highest quality wireless microphones to capture natural sounds of the day to entice your senses.

This is your wedding day edited chronologically to your choice of music and includes the entire ceremony and speeches. Usually, the duration of a feature film is 60-120 minutes but could vary.

This is the best parts of your wedding day squeezed into a short highlight that is edited to your choice of music. Depending on your package, it could be between 3-15 minutes. This is where we use creative editing techniques to enhance the visual experience. A highlight is a great way of showcasing your special day.

As part of our services to our couples, we provide your cinematic wedding highlight film in an iPhone (smartphones) friendly format so you can share it with family and friends anywhere you are. Additionally, we also put your wedding highlight films online for you to share.

We work alongside the best filmmakers in the industry. This allows us to continuously improve our techniques whilst keeping us inspired. We train several times a year at AVPA (Australia Video Producers Association) meetings and keep ourselves up to date by going to conventions like SMPTE and PMA.

Normally, we start the day at the bride and grooms preparations. Preparations are not only about the getting dressed but also about the overwhelming emotions and anticipation for what is to come. We do capture all the details of the preparation such as the wedding dress, shoes, jewellery, suits, etc.. but most importantly we are looking for the interactions amongst the family. These are moments that will never be repeated and its important to capture them.

From there we head off to the Wedding Ceremony ahead of the bridal party in order to setup our cameras and microphones. The best sound recording is possible when there is one wireless microphone on the groom’s jacket, one on the priest/celebrant and one on the readers’ microphone. Depending on your chosen package, there could be multiple cameras recording your ceremony. This would help in capturing multiple angles of the bride and groom and also the reactions of the family and friends which the bride and groom would never know unless they are captured by us.

After the ceremony, we look forward to the photoshoot as this is the time where we can get highly creative and capture stunning visuals that will be used in producing their film. We combine a directed and candid style of shooting in order to create the best wedding film possible.

Once again we like to get to the reception before the guests and the bridal party enter the hall. This is so that we can get footage of the empty hall and the details/decorations that has been prepared by the couple for their wedding reception. From here onwards, we capture the formalities such as the entrance, cutting of the cake, bridal waltz, etc.. and other informal moments such as the guests mingling, food arriving at tables, etc.. in a candid manner. We end the night on a high note by capturing fun bits like throwing of the bouquet, garter and walking through the human arch.

Once we receive your selection of music, the editing process commences. Our editors will choose the best footage mixed with the most suitable soundtracks to produce a dynamic and timeless wedding film. Your wedding video is colour corrected, sound adjusted and then burnt onto high quality discs with your images on the box and disc.

We recommend that you make a couple of copies of your DVDs and keep them in a safe and cool place. You can also purchase the raw footage which will give you the option of being able to re-edit your wedding film in the future.

This is a great opportunity for creative couples to share their stories in a fun manner. This could be a film about how you met, your proposal, a message to your guests at the reception or you could go all out and create a fun, fantasy film that will be the talk of the town for years to come. Some suggestions are the FRIENDS sitcom intro, lip-syncing to a Bollywood song, funny story that involves the bridal party.

A Same Day Edit wedding video is a great way to share your entire day with your guests at the reception. This is normally a 3-5 minutes wedding video highlight of your day that gets put together during the day by an experienced editor. The film is usually projected after the speeches and is received warmly by all present.
